Look Into My Eyes
It’s not often you look at a photo and can’t decide if the content is beautiful or disgusting, but with the work of photographer, Suren Manvelyan, you may be asking yourself this question. His series, “Your Beautiful Eyes”, captures some incredible close-ups of the human iris – so close you can see the individual tissues of the eye.
Here’s a few of the photos from the series, but you should also check out his website where he photographs animals’ eyes, and various landscapes from his native Armenia.
Another beautiful series of Manvelyan’s is “Night Armenian Spirit” in which he photographs the night sky using a long exposure. The images remind me of Van Gogh’s Starry Night, as the slow exposure captures the movement of the Earth making the stars look like they’re shooting across the sky.
